Next week's Live Spotlight: POP DELL'ARTE - December 25th - MusicBox

Pop Dell'Arte: the name says everything. Crossing true dadaist strategies with an amalgam of pop, rock, dance, funk, ethnic rhythms and experimental textures, this group (lead by visionary mastermind João Peste since 1984) has been striving to widen the boundaries of the portuguese popscene for almost 30 years.
As it has happened for some years now (first on the extinct Cabaret Maxime, and currently on MusicBox), Pop Dell'Arte are doing a Christmas show, this time exactly on Christmas day. An excellent timing to discover a band expert in breaking conventions.
